Pilot Metropolitan, fine nib, turquoise body inked with Pilot's Shin-ryoku(Forest Green), a lovely color in my humble opinion :D

“Many boys will bring you flowers. But someday you'll meet a boy who will learn your favorite flower, your favorite song, your favorite sweet. And even if he is too poor to give you any of them, it won't matter because he will have taken the time to know you as no one else does. Only that boy earns your heart."

Very nice.

Thank you MalcolmH!!

This is the only pen I have with flex nib, but love it (partially because my dad gave it to me after using for long years since 1970's as journalist)

Dream, take one step at a time and achieve. :)

It's great, with one caveat. I like the line it draws - it's more like a Japanese Extra Fine rather than a European Extra fine. I find European Extra Fines are usually the same thing as European Fines... no difference, so I'm happy with this one.

However, the nib is very feedbacky... not scratchy, just a lot of feedback.

I believe Aurora's nibs known for giving feedback, and with it being an Extra Fine you can really feel it. I'm ok with feedback, but I might apply micromesh to dial it down a touch. I still want feedback, just not quite that much.

Pelikan M200 Cafe Creme Fine (Noodler's Army) for me today.

For me, so far it's been mix of old and new: the Midnight Blue 51 Aero I got at the Triangle Pen show last month (not sure if it's an F or an M nib), with Lamy Pacifica Blue ink. And I suspect later it will be the Parkette refitted with the very sweet music nib from a no-name lever filler I bought last year, with (now diluted) Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Black.

But I have pen club tonight, so I may end up inking up a whole lot more pens.... And I've been so good about trying to cut down on the stash of pens in rotation.... :headsmack: I think I've flushed out 6 or 7 in the past week or so, including the English made Navy Gray 51 (also from TPS) with the OB nib.
