Stunning.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

I've always rotated my everyday pens, but I've been using this beauty for a good six months. It's got the finest 9128 example I've ever used.

That's some doodling!

Congrats on you new acquisition ;)

Never tried an Ellipse, but the Yama-Dori is a "dedicated" ink, used almost exclusively in my Duofold Jr.

Personally I think doodling and hatching is a cool way get a nib "polished" to suit your hand. And you get a chance to use your pens.

I have to do a better comparison shot of the teal blue body of the pen and some Lamy Safari, Twsbis for size comparison. The Ellipse is by far the longest pen I own currently, love the size.

Also I got the matching rotating pencil from the same seller for 30 £. No one seemed interested.

So there'll be a lot more doodling.

What a collection Eli ! Very beautiful collection .. truly honored by elegant handwriting ! Actually you don't need so many pens except for desire , cuz I think even if you simply pick up a twig from the stem of a tree in your backyard and write with it , that will still leave impressive lines , given your elegant handwriting Eli. Huge appreciation !

With this capacious piston filler, you'll get a number of Majestic Blue versions: in about a week after filling, it gets darker, gains a lot purple hue, and starts to produce an incredible red sheen. Beware!

It's been in the pen for about a week now so I'm getting major sheen. It's one of the reasons I love majestic blue :).

I'm using my Lamy 2K again, writing a card and letter to a friend.

Thanks for your kind words, Pankaj, but it seems you tend to overestimate my skills. My handwriting is really ugly sometimes - not only when I have to use a ballpoint, but also with a number of totaly nice FPs. Anyway, I'll take your comment as an encouragement for more practice. Happy writing!
