Eli, I also agree that is a beautiful blue ink. As always, I love your handwriting! I was experimenting with some Conway Stewart Tavy last nite, and it is somewhat similar in color--maybe a bit darker.

Sorry for the scribbly handwriting, but I was trying to do this between answering phone calls...

I like this shot so much - It's real, it's everyday, it's ink on a page :)

I love what I see here. Really. Enjoy your new Bexley!

Thanks, Helen! I love this ink - it's quite close to one of my all-time favourites, Waterman Serenity Blue, but richer, darker and wetter. Perfect for flex writing.

And here's another shade of blue:

EoC - your Bexley is a thing of beauty.

Mine is the usual cheapo

A Pilot MR (in Bronze Lizard, apparently), fitted with a fine italic nib from a Pilot Plumix (aka The Ugliest Pen in the World).

Ink: Rohrer and Klingner Sepia
Paper: Conqueror Laid (Vellum)

Eli, love the de Atramentis Jules Verne and the flexy Swan.

David, show us more of that Bexley!

dcpritch, that Tibaldi is so gorgeous.

Helen, my earliest recollection of a fountain pen is playing around with my dad's Hero vulpen.

Lovely handwriting. What is the purple ink?

I'm using the Pilot 78G again (diamine sherwood green). It's such a nice light pen that it's excellent for long writing sessions;

Chameleon? Accepted. Thanks a lot!

Don't know what's more attractive here - your penmanship, your pen or your ability to show the ink at its best.

The ink is Chesterfield Antique Copper. Got a bottle before they were discontinued.

It is a mixture of two Chesterfield inks. I was in a dabbling mood that evening. Thought I would give it a try to see what I would get.

This is my note making pen for today. I'm planning for my daughter's birthday... challenging when there are so many things off the menu: no gluten, no onions, no garlic - and that's just the beginning (she's been diagnosed with IBS and is on the elimination phase of the diet).

The pen is my new Kaweco Skyline Sport F in the special edition purple, filled with Sailor Jentle Epinard. It may be a F nib but it writes more like a M, which I found a little disappointing; I much prefer finer. For shopping lists, though, it's ok.

Just went out of my comfort zone recently and acquired this Parker Duofold Centennial.

I used it here to sketch the pattern on the tapestry. View on the picture under a different angle in the Artwork thread.

Oh, and btw. I got the pen directly from amazon where it was 50% off - probably clearance for the new models.
