Sorry, late to the Sun Eclipse party. Had to work all day and didn't get a chance to do this until this evening.

According to the ancient Chinese myth, the total eclipse is caused by the Dragon Swallowing the sun:

The pen is a Weidlich if anyone is curious. The ink is Callifolio Noir.

Nice! Really nice line variations

Not posted a photo here for ages.

Here is my trusty work horse

For me, this is an all around winner. An utter joy to write with and even better to sketch with. I can't recommend this pen highly enough.

When people talk about super flex and such on fountain pens I think about nibs like the Isaacs 27 below. Using the measuring tool in Photoshop to compare the thin hairlines vs. the thickest shade, I calculate to be about 16x from thinnest to thickest. And the spring you get from a steel pen is just so much better than anything you can get from a gold pen. But they wear out and you have to dip them. Pick your poison.

Love my new Aurora. The brushed surface works great and looks fantastic. It helps that Aurora is my favorite black ink.

For the two dip pens I used Diamine Registrar's ink.

Fun to see people's pens again.

Nothing special, No fancy writing... just an everyday tools...

I haven't posted too much but I sure enjoy seeing everyone else's great pens and writing!

Here's what I'm using today - a Q1 1937 Parker Vacumatic Standard in Emerald Pearl, with a two-toned 14k BB nib, inked with Noodler's Green Marine. For the curious, I am writing in a Field Notes Shenendoah notebook tucked into a Hide & Home Leather Notebook Cover Pocket in brown, with green stitching. The Field Notes paper has a difficult time handling the wet flow of this BB nib, but its not really a problem for quick note taking and such.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

DAVID

That's a neat looking Parker 25. They look quite rare now. Love your use of the MB Permanent Blue ink. It's still my favourite, used a lot with my Pilot 912 FA.

Today I am using my newest acquisition, the Montblanc Solitaire Le Grand Stainless Steel and Carbon:

Love the Montblanc Solitaires. That 146 looks really sharp in stainless steel.
