Today I'm using a TWSBI 580 with a Faber Castell nib in it. I switched the nibs yesterday, it used to have a B nib that was dry and feedback-y and I just wasn't using the pen because I didn't enjoy writing with it. It's much better now

I never had any issues with TWSBI nibs, but I definitely prefer Faber-Castell ones. Did you use only the steel nib or the entire plastic housing that screws inside the Faber-Castell grip section?

Using the Faber Castell Nibs is a wonderful idea.

Here's a sketch from when I was entertaining myself during a meeting about a month ago. Camera angle did weird things to the perspective of the drawing.

Yup, Pilot 823, Fine Nib, using Iroshizuku Ama-Iro.

Here's another. When there's nothing around to sketch, I just hold up my left hand and try to sketch with my right

Wow! Does the FC nib fit into a twsbi eco too?

 

I don't know, I switched the entire nib unit from my FC Loom to the 580 and the nib on the 580 is different than the nib on the eco.

The entire housing, you can screw it into the 580. I first pulled out just the nib and feed and put it in the TWSBI housing but that doesn't fit properly and you won't be able to screw on the cap the entirely so you have to swap the housing, too. The only additional thing I did was move the o-ring from the TWSBI nib unit to the FC nib unit. I've no idea what it does but better safe than sorry....
