Happy belated birthday Ian! nice gift there!

Fountain pen novice. I am aquiring pens at a frightening pace, I am afraid it might be an addiction... I see I am not alone here on FPN! Latest acquisitions - Platinum 3776 Kumpoo with Diamine Eau de Nil, Opus 88 Koloro inked with Diamine November Rain, Franklin-Christoph Model Pocket 66 prototype inked with Franklin-Christoph Honeycomb.

Thanks parkerwasmyfirstlove, and Diplomaat

The Perspective was a gift from my wife and kids, and even though I knew I was getting it, it still knocked me out when I opened it.

It is a gorgeous pen, and It writes like an absolute dream with it's smooth, wet, broad (L) nib.

I really love modern, French Watermans, and I have at least 3 more, either here, or on the way, courtesy of ebay bargains and some additional money I got for my birthday.

I'm a lucky, happy bunny. :)

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Kaweco Sport with a broad nib.

Not very happy with my progress yet....

Adding an old Montblanc 146 with a fine nib I just received a couple days ago to the mix along with one of my best writers, the Visconti Homo Sapiens with an EF nib. Inks are Edelstein Onyx and Iroshizuku Tsuki-Yo. Paper, nothing special, just a standard coiled notepad from work and hence the bit of feathering but all in all, not bad for the amount of ink put down.

Gorgeous pens!!

You've reminded me how much I NEED a Homo Sapiens. It was always clear to me that the Homo Sapiens would be the first premium pen I would get. Somehow it didn't work out, and I've got a number of really fancy pens, but no Homo Sapiens yet...

Oh well, someday...

Enjoy your new MB!

Today I was using this lovely thing for corresponding with friends. Beautiful in it's minimalism, and a Masuyama nib that is plain sweet to write with.

Yes it was one of the "off" colors and I really like it. I think it is now part of their line up. I really like my Karas.

What a great combo!

Finally, I can share my Permanent Blue experience. I used the ink in a "wet" Pilot CH 912 - and loved it:
