I was writing some letters this afternoon and realized what a beautiful day it had turned into, so I took a quick photo. I've been so happy the last few weeks for having found this pen: Aurora 365 Limited Edition from 2015, #211 of 365. It is everything I could ever hope for in a pen.

a sterling reputation

A small sterling silver Parker that I bought (along with a matching mechanical pencil that was missing its clip) from an antique mall cum flea market in NYC for about $50 -- maybe less says my increasing foggy recollection -- about 35 years ago. Pictured here with a sterling silver Rolex Prince wristwatch I bought in London at around the same time. I had Fountain Pen Hospital re-sac the pen shortly after I bought it. It has sat mostly unused in more recent years, but much to my delight the sac is still operable. It's going to get used more often now that I have rediscovered the joy of writing with a nifty tool in hand.

For size comparison, the silver Parker is pictured below next to a Duofold Junior (this one cost me five bucks back then and also got a new sac from FPH).

I don't know much about vintage parkers but I like the look of that pen - makes a great combination with the prince.

Sent mine for a nib adjustment, for a second time. You're lucky with your Black & Gold. I have more luck with my other Skyline (Dubonnet Red) - no issues, great nib.
