Here, another (and the last) of the pens I have on loan since December '16. A large Monteverde, model unknown. With some classic Pelikan (120/140) styling cues, but much larger than those old Birds. Poor finish (badly corroded plating on clip and cap band; the latter went loose when I was cleaning the pen, and has been returned in place with two tiny drops of lacquer). Very smooth M nib - don't know if it's a Schmidt or Jowo. Surprisingly good writer.

My workhorse pen for today ist the humble Preppy.

The cheapest pen I have. The O-ring alone adds about 25% more value to the pen.

I eyedroppered it for using it at home with platinum leaf green - the same green that came in a cartridge with the pen.
