Montblanc Midnight Blue ink

Wow, but this is not a normal BBB, right? Otherwise how would you get that line variation.

Beautiful color, must have!

Today, using a trio of gold and black pens, two of which are my father's.

My Pilot Custom 823

Dad's 1992 Parker Duofold (he got it right after I was born)

Dad's 1970s Montblanc 149

The MB just came back from MB for some cleaning and nib adjustment, but it's in stellar and original condition. My dad took extremely good care of it, it's practically scratchless. Lived in a nice pen case on his desk at work, basically just used it to sign briefs, filings, motions, etc.

What a stunning pen/ink combo! Opposites attract ;)

Another lovely sketch, thanks for sharing! CP-1 for 25 SFr is a steal.

Here, another pen on loan - a Pelikan M620 Berlin with an especially wet 18C M nib, along with my M600 F aka The Bluebird:

The pen is inked with Diamine Dark Green.

Drooling over the Pelikans. Nice ones.

I was in mood of sketching, and then remembered its the anniversary of release of "Nelson Mandella" from the prison year 1990, so decided to sketch him, hope you all will like it:

EoC, that is one gorgeous pen!

Yes it is, and I am giving it away.

Edit: having done a bit of reading around I now believe this pen is actually a Demi. It has the hoop filler - doesn't say 'special' - a gold cap with a pearl 'jewel', and a honking great gold nib. It thinner and shorter than a standard Mk1 51. Of course it could be a frankenpen.

The ink is Diamine Asa Blue. This pen is destined to leave here too. I have no need or use for nibs like this. Haven't decided on whether to sell it or give it away. As I am giving away the Balladeer it may be a loss too far for me to give this too, but if I find a suitable recipient I might.

Interesting nib. Looks hand ground to me.

Don't know if I count as a new member. I've been on FPN for a few months now, although I haven't posted a whole lot, but if I'm eligible, I'm definitely interested, that pen looks amazing!

I am wondering now if the pen is actually a Parker Super 21. Anyone got any ideas on this? If possible I am going to yank the nib out because I have a kullock body and section inbound that may suit it better. The 21 is junk, yes?
