Thank you, thank you.

I ran a little ink through it today (just enough to test, not enough to DQ the one pen/one month challenge). It writes very well, but I doubt it is a B.

One of these days I'll have a 149 O3B to put next to it, just for giggles. More pictures then.

Not a recent purchase but this little one (142), along with a Pelikan 100N, just came back from Brad Torelli. He did a fantastic job bringing these up to snuff.

Beautiful 142! I bought one on eBay only to return it because it wasn't at all as described by seller. The 142 has been on my list for so long, but it's either too expensive or up for sale by sellers I dont find reliable. Some day though...

Tom,

I have dipped the nib to test and it writes beautifully :)

It's a standard M sized nib.

Oh that is nice... thanks for getting a picture up!

How does that even feel, crossing a pen like that off the list? :P

That's great news!

I'm so pleased that your new nib writes so smoothly for you.

Thank you for the handwriting sample and for showing the pen.

Such an OB nib will be fun to use.

Thanks Bill :)

Whilst I am delighted with the pen and will treasure it, the feeling is somewhat odd. I have wanted this pen for years. Having finally got myself into a position where I could own the Qing, I am feeling, in one sense, a little deflated.

I very much doubt that I will spend this much on a single pen again, so what next? I need to figure out my next goal. It's going to take me a while to repair the pen budget :D
