Took this home with me today. I decided to pass on the 888 version (although it is soooo nice) to make room for other items further down the year

No signs of the Borghese ink. But they did show me on the system The Beatles (blue), SAdE (dark bordeaux), UNICEF (light blue).

Also exciting news, a new line of inks released. They are 3x price of a regular bottle for 50 ML and they're called Montblanc Elixir. Three colors: Pourpre, Bleu, Violette. They're made for Artisan pens and have higher standard formulations than the regular editions. The bottles are gorgeous! Square crystals with a flat top with huge white star.

Stunning!!! 🤤🤤🤤

I'm excited for the Bordeaux ink and the new elixir inks as well! This is going to be a great year!

"speculation" says (as well as my montblanc rep) that this year is going to be the beatles and Saint-exupery.

As for images of the products, this year everyone is silent.

I have a Yellow Gold trimmed O3B 149 on the way, also inspired by Tom Kellie. I've been into broader nibs for a while, and a Pilot Custom 74 Cosu is my current broadest. Really excited to see what the Oblique nib does to my writing.

I signed the quote approval last night to have MB swap an O3B into a 149 I have in for repairs. Of course, I am sure it will take a while to get back to me so I best just forget about it for now.

I still want one in Platinum though...

As long as MB doesn't goof up like they have on my 1906. First dropped it off at my MB Boutique August 2, 2016. They've had to send it back to Germany three times and I still don't have it back from repair. Each time the Boutique receieved my pen back, the repair billing got higher, yet the original issue with some of the platinum bars on the barrel were never repaired. Actually, this first time they sent it back from Germany was in November 2016. My MB rep couldn't figure out what they fixed as the pen had no new parts installed and now TWO platinum bars were popping out of the barrel. They actually made it worse! Pen was sent back to Germany and my store received it back 6 weeks later in January. Strangely the repair Bill was higher, yet the pen barrel was still broken in original section plus the additional section MB goofed up on. Again my MB boutique couldn't figure out why they didn't repair my original request yet kept sending the pen back with higher bills! It's now April 2017 and I still don't have my pen. My store said once it gets back fixed I won't have to pay anything... But shouldn't they offer me something additional for my troubles? Maybe a free notebook or something?

Sorry to hear your troubles. I have had incorrect nibs sent back to me before, bit not what you have dealt with. Plus my pen was already pretty broken. I am not sure they could break it more.

You can contact MB customer service. Maybe they can give you something of a voucher that would cost them nothing. It does not seem like the boutique's fault although if they made you come in to look at a broken pen in person I would be miffed after the first time.

Stunning pen! Which ink do you use with such a large nib? I have noted that MB ink is a bit too wet with large nibs.

I' m using Diamine Sargasso Sea now, I tried Montblanc Leo Tolstoy and I liked it.
