I'm still working on Foundational.

Parallel Pen 2.4, Pilot Black for Parallel Pen, Rhodia №18 90g/m² cream paper.

ps:

@Randal6393: Interesting script, I see influences from historic styles, but the final effect is pretty consistent.

@Sagarb: I wish I had the patience to learn pointed pen. Very nice work.

pps:

Constructive critique is always welcome (if anyone want to discuss it in more detail, PM me and I'll open dedicated thread for C/C).

Great work, Sagar, love the choice of ink. What ink is it? Is the pen a Gillott 303? Does a great job with consistent swells. Thanks for posting,

Yours,
Randal

@ksm (Chris),

Just playing with the pen. Didn't do as well as I would like, just following Jackie Svaren's ideas for developing a style of an alphabet. (As I recall her words.) Just fun to do. Was actually leaning to a style of Batarde but one that is legible. Back to the writing board.

Enjoy,

Yours,
Randal

Thanks Randal, the ink is made from walnut crystal. Yes, that's Gillot 303, I think the time has come to throw it away..you can see that finishing hasn't come so good with it.

Sagar, beautiful work. You've chosen versions of the minuscule k and r that I have so much trouble with, but you handle them skillfully.

For this week, wanted to make a small tribute to spring. So, here is a lovely sentiment by Rainer Maria Rilke:

It is spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart.

Thanks Sagar. It looks like you enjoy making the lower-case l, h, b, and k, with the ascender loops... and your p and s look like they were really fun to make.

You all do such lovely pointed pen writing that I wanted to give it a try. I used a Brause eeff nib from my stash. I did this last night when I should have been working on my Roman capitals instead. :)
