Montblanc Red Gold 149 Obbb

Mon pays, ce n'est pas un pays, c'est l'hiver.

-- title of a poem by the great Felix Leclerc.

It means something like: my country is not a country, it's winter.

I predict Montblanc will offer us a WE in his name soon. The clip will come in the shape of a roof rake.

~ The bespoke Montblanc OBBB roof rake is equipped with your choice of yellow gold, red gold or platinum support struts for the obliquely canted super-extra-broad blade, capable of effortlessly dislodging meter-high snowdrifts or heaped piles of desert sand.

The Winnipeg model's sturdy support stick doubles as a wand for those in wizard training, while the Dubai model has a delicate skeleton handle from Montblanc's Atelier Privé.

For purchasers in Winnipeg, hot cookies will be served with hearty winter punch, while Dubai purchasers will be offered a generous serving of date bars with fresh mint tea.

Tom, you are brilliant. That is a faithful rendition of my roof rake. For the edification of our readers, i would like to add that mine is made out of precious resin and has all the requisite logos and trademarks just as indicated in your drawing.

The retractable nib, cleverly concealed in the handle, sports an OBBBBBBB signature nib. The line variation is truly remarkable.

I am holding out for the Great Characters edition. I hear they are honoring Prancer this year and using real horn for the handle. The Logo cleverly hides a jingle bell.

Don't you have to buy the set with Dancer and Vixen to get it? I heard it only comes in F and M. :bunny01:

Tom - I bet it's about the appearance of a converter within a pen body, cylinder in cylinder, different than that of the good ol' single barrel piston. Fun experiment: bring a 147 next time and see what happens when compared with a 146 and 149.
