Pravda, I’m new to this thread and somewhat new to MB pens. What model is this MB in this early post to this thread. It’s quite elegant. Thanks.

It is the Heritage 1914 edition of 1000 in black. A very large pen with a stunning cap top and a large retractable nib.

Thank you for identifying it for me: I’m much obliged.

Wow! I have a thing for monotone nibs, regardless of the color. They just look rich! :)

Thanks Pravda. I am really happy with the pen and love writing with it. :)

Ha! Both oblique nibs and Pug puppies are great fun.

Each in their own way puts a special spin on each day.

What a splendid handwriting sample!

The Irish Green and Gaius Maecenas OB nib produce beautiful strokes.

Thank you for posting that here.

The Montblanc bag has served well for the past three years, in all weather conditions.

May your Wish List eventually become posts in “What Is Your Latest MB Purchase?”.

Your gorgeous monotone 146 OB is a special treat to see.

The Montblanc Corn Poppy ink is vivid in the very finest sense.

As both Ghost Plane and Pravda have written, it's a lovely combination of pen and ink.

Any image of a monotone Montblanc nib is especially appreciated.

I'm so glad that you're enjoying it, and let us do likewise through your photos.

Thank you for sharing these here.

~ As Fountain Pen Day is the first Friday in November, it comes in a special time of the year for yours truly.

It's Saturday morning in China, 4 November, which happens to be my 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 birthday.

As someone with an Irish surname who regularly writes with Montblanc Irish Green, it's a pleasure to see it here.

Thank you for these nice posts, including many posts over the past year.

Happy 2 to the 6th power birthday dear Tom. I hope little Z has special plans for you today, but not including leaving presents around the house! ;)

Many thanks!

Zuji is housebroken, but as a 21-week old puppy he tends to devour presents!

Thank you for pointing out Fountain Pen Day on my birthday.
