Doesn't look too green to me. :) it may well be tea, but let's hope for something stronger! ;)

You made me smile.

I just ordered my nib exchange for the Gaius Maecenas 4810... From a medium to an OB...! It will be a few months, but I blame you (and thank you) Tom and ghost.

Keep this thread going and Montblanc will need to do something about all these orders for b+ nibs

It's going to take a few months... I liked the tester pen. If when I get, I like it as much as I hope, it would be a turning point!

Again I thank you for opening the doors to new nibs! (I always thought obliques were for people who rotated their hands!!)

We interrupt this thread with a shameless plug:

Tom + other Broad nib lovers - Please add some phtotos and thoughts to my new thread on broad nibbed pens. I would like to expose more people to the wonders of mass ink consumption.

Apologies for the unsolicited interruption, but I think some folks miss out on all Tom's wonderful art as they don't visit the MB forum.

I will not be gardening, per orders of my newest neighbor. A not so subtle reminder that these are the tropics.

I love the look of the UNICEF 146. I imagine that it would feel quite different from the run-of-the-mill precious resin 146. What differences have you noticed? Could one post the cap on this pen? If yes, might posting the cap damage the barrel?

How is your new neighbor doing?

It's longer than the standard 146, so I find it quite comfortable to use and the added weight means it floats quickly along under its own inertia with minimal effort to steer. I haven't tried posting as I didn't need to, but assume it would damage the enamel. If you've ever held an Oppenheim, the weight and length is similar.

I haven't seen "Baby" for a few days.

My O3B is going to take longer than estimated to arrive. They seem to be overly busy this time of the year, with newly launched Writers' Editions and all. At least that's the official excuse. :(
