I managed to track down and intercept the post woman and pick up another (even more expensive) package that was also coming from nibs.com today. But the missing package is nowhere to be found. Also, still no words from nibs.com. I really hope their after-sales service is as good as their before sales ones. Nevertheless, I'm very frustrated; since the mail was mis-delivered to another box, there is no paper trail that shows that the postal system is at fault here... as far as they are concerned, they delivered it to my mailbox.

 

Anyway, Today I received a beautiful Sailor 1911 Ebony wood desk pen with a concord nib. It's a HUGE pen (8.8 inches and a whopping 72 grams) that is strangely very comfortable to hold and use (I have medium hands)!

Ooooh wow the craziness, I have to add to my waiting list that I'm waiting also on a Jinhao Gold X750 and after learning about the Noodler's King Philip Special Edition ink and fountain pen I've went for the hunt and I've found for a very reasonable price a Noodler's Ahab King Philip OMG my favorite color and also I think it would be the best pen in my list...woooohooo <---- me dancing

I'm not sure how the shipping via Italie Postale is but I've been waiting 3 weeks and counting for my Aurora 88 and Aurora Optima. I'm praying they come next week. The anticipation is fun but I think pen in hand and using them is funner.

 

So since that purchase.... I managed to find a place in Italy with NOS of Omas Arte Italiana Extra Paragon Celluloid 1991 in Arco Brown. I snapped that baby up immediately at a great price even though I told myself no more pens for this year. Okay. After this Omas Arco, no more pens for the year. I swear.

I´m waiting for an Aurora Optima Nero perla.

I was actually ordering a Nakaya Piccolo in aka tamenuri, but the Price was adjusted $200 in the wrong direction just when I was ready to order. It wasn´t actually a cheap pen to start with, so I must admit I was grumpy for a day or two.

I really wanted that Piccolo, so I hope I won´t be too disappointed with the runner up.
