What Pen Are You Waiting For In The Mail 2017

I'm waiting on my Lamy Petrol in a fine nib. I'm also waiting on a Rhodia lined notebook and De Atramentes(don't yell at me for spelling :P ) 35 ML ink in Magenta Violet.

You were close on De Atramentis. You can type it DeA and people will know what you mean. They make some pretty inks. Their topic inks can be intriguing but hard to find. I have the Lamy Petrol, but didn't get the ink. Did you? I put Sailor Yama Dori it. Made a good match.

A Kaweco Ice Sport in green with B nib that was on Last Chance at jetpens.com

It will be my first Ice Sport, and I bought a converter too.

What is this "Last Chance" that you speak of? I don't see it on their site.

Also, if you have any complaints with the converter you ordered, search youtube for a diy bulb converter. SIMPLE and works GREAT - even I made one in seconds - from a cartridge and sac. Basically, you just cut the end off of a cartridge that fits the Sport, and shellac a sac onto the remaining shorter piece that fits into the back of the section. Measurements are given in the video. 15 seconds to make one plus 30 min - 1 hr to dry! Genius!

Wow! Thanks for that tip. I hope I kept a sac I cut wrong. What a great idea.

Sometimes a product has last chance near the item because I think they are discontinuing the item. The price doesn't change. Jet Pens is letting us know when it's gone it's gone. The ice green in broad had 2 left when I impulse purchased one.

I tried to attach a screenshot but I got a failed message. I did a search for Ice Sport. On the second page

of results the green version is shown. Last Chance is upper left.

Pilot VP, metallic blue, medium nib. supposed to arrive Monday. I took advantage of Office Depot's 30% off coupon.

I did the same, and ordered the same pen! I'm also waiting on 2 Platinum Preppys, a Conklin Nighthawk Titanium, several Chinese pens from Ebay. The anniversary sale at HisNibs got me back into fountain pens after not using mine for over 5 years.

My Kaweco Ice Sport arrived today. The green is rather jewel toned, very attractive. Some day I'll buy an italic Kaweco nib from Jet Pens because they explain how to switch out Kaweco nibs (and the feed).

I ordered TWSBI Eco white 1.1mm and clear extra-fine, hoping to receive them tomorrow or on Thursday.

I've previously had a TWSBI Eco and didn't exactly have the best experience with it, it had a scratchy nib (alignment was perfect, the slit must have had really rough edges?) and the feed wasn't able to provide enough ink when I wrote for more than 10mins. I ended up giving that pen to my father who does enjoy it.

I feel a bit stupid for buying 2 of the pen model I previously had bad experience with, but I'm hoping these will perform better ;)

My second S T Dupont Neo-classique, a Cheval, should be here in a couple of weeks courtesy of FPN's own BillP.

I'm waiting for a Diplomat Aero in sunset orange. An aluminium pen with Zeppelin influence.

It's a stunning pen, mine finally arrived at the start of the week and I have been using it none stop since. The orange colour is stunning, and the way it writes is amazing, for a steel nib it is incredibly smooth, Diplomat have certainly worked some magic with the nib on this pen. I hope you enjoy yours when it arrives.

Received these 2 yesterday, I haven't been able to use them much yet, but so far they're both a lot better than my first Eco. The extra-fine is really smooth, can't say anything about the ink flow yet, though. The 1.1mm is pretty wet, not as crisp or smooth as my Lamy stubs, but still an enjoyable pen to use :)

Waiting for the return of my Visconti Eco-Roller from repair. I was trying to change the very stubborn roller tip, and instead ended up with a mangled pen. It looks like I chewed through it while taking a calculus exam. It is on its way to Visconti for a spa treatment.

Sailor 1911 Large, black/gold, MF

TWSBI 580AL,silver, EF

The TWSBI arrived and I like it a lot. Filled it with Diamine Red Dragon. Red inks look good in demonstrators. Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha

The Sailor is another story. First, I was told it was going to be on backorder for 2 to 3 weeks. But, two days after that I got a shipping notice. Since I paid US$29 for USPS Priority Express, I expected it the next day even though it was going from southern California to Maryland. But tracking showed it sat in LA for two days, and then it went to Bismarck, ND! It left there early this morning. "Scheduled Delivery" is still showing as yesterday at noon, and it says "Money Back Guarantee." Will I ever get the pen? Who gets the money back? I suppose it'll still be better than 2 to 3 weeks, but if I pay for Express then I should expect Express, no? Right now it feels like its' on the Pony Express!

Ink 'em if you got 'em!

Waiting patiently on a Jinhao 675.

I'm getting a lot better at waiting

(aye right!)

Going by experience, it will appear long before the expected delivery date, which is always nice.
