Lamy Studio Imperial Blue, used... I know, that section looks slippery but couldn't help it, even though my original budget was for half what I paid. Hopefully it will be in good condition, it'll take a looong time to get to me though. For Équinoxe 6 orphaned from a fiendish hard starting Platinum Cool, probably.

A Wing Sung 698 extra fine. I bought a 698 fine nib a little while back and am so impressed by it I just had to try the extra fine. A cheap Chinese pen but a superb writer.

Stipula Etruria Rainbow blue with T-flex nib. I've been hearing the quality control of the nib varies, so hoping that the nib I am getting is a good one. (well if not, I will have to take it to a nib meister...).

Dream, take one step at a time and achieve. :)

I got the email from Franklin-Christoph my Model 02 Intrinsic Antique Glass was ready. I decided on no clip and with the Masuyama M-CI nib. Should have it in a few days! I have been waiting since May 18th for it. Not that I did not buy other pens while waiting ;)

Here is a stock photo for those that don't know anything about this model and finish

Mine arrived 2 days ago, a stub. Now I am waiting for a stupidly expensive bottle of Lamy Dark Lilac to go in it.

Today I put in an order for a TWSBI 580 Clear/Fine, and a bottle of Diamine Oxblood ink. Firsts for me: TWSBI, demonstrator, piston, bottled ink.

Ink 'em if you got 'em!

I may have gone a little bit nuts lately, so in the post I have:

Approx 30 vintage Waterman pens, as a little repair project (and an order of pen parts on the way too!)

An 18111 pen

And then 2 Namisu Ixions down the track

I ordered a Pilot Custom Heritage 92 in blue with a fine medium nib from JetPens yesterday, and it shipped today. Haven't had a fountain pen for 20 years, so I'm a little jazzed. After ordering it, I was starting to doubt my selection of nib, so today I ordered a Custom 74 (clear demonstrator) with a medium nib from a Japanese retailer on Amazon. Unfortunately, that one will take 3 to 4 weeks (correction: 4 to 6), but the price is totally worth it.

The FM nib is one of my favorites. The M nib should be smooth and wet. The FM is closer to F then M. At least mine is. I expect you will like the 92, I like mine.
