A Conklin Durograph in Ice Blue from Goulet pens. I really like this pen, enough to buy a second with different colour/nib. This one is going to be a fine instead of a medium so we'll see how that goes.

I also have a Nemosine Singularity with 0.6 stub nib tossed in that same order. Should be in sometime this week so I'm pretty excited.

I'm very excited for this one...
just bought my second parker 51. This time, it's an india black MK I, in the original box.
For only 30 bucks, and it seems to be in very good condition.
I really shouldn't have spent the money, but this was too good a deal not to accept.

I've ordered three Pilot Metropolitans all with italic nibs - purple, green and orange.

A week ago I received a Prera with the same nib, I loved the line variation, but it was bit scratchy, I tried to smooth it out and it got worse. And worse. It ended up completely ruined. So cross with myself, so disappointed, after waiting a month for it to get here. I rescued the Prera by switching in the EF nib from a Pilot Penmnship. (Love the nib, dislike the grip on those.) So all was not lost, the pretty green Prera has a long and happy role to play.

I was still stewing about the ruined nib so I had a go at grinding one from a Jinhao, but couldn't get it as sharp and fine as the Pilot nib. I handed my husband a Jinhao x750 and links to videos and instructions - his effort was better than mine but still not what I was hoping for. Trying to get a sub 1mm that's fairly crisp and smooth isn't easy because trying to get it smooth makes it wider and wider.

That's how I ended up down three nibs and why I'm ordering three pens. (That and trying to spread the steep shipping cost - over US$20 - and the notice says it could take up to 45 days... sigh)

This will be my last pen order for the year. FWIW I no longer have ANY interest in nib grinding, that's for the experts, I just want to draw.

Will work for pens...
