My Aurora 88P arrived today, the "best" of the original 88 series according to some. This completes my intended Aurora 88 set, sitting between an original ("Nizzoli") 88 and a current 88 or Ottantotto.

I have an older Pelikan Tortoise (not inexpensive) lost in the mail since November... tracking says it's still in Germany but German Post tells the seller it was sent on to the US... but nobody has scanned it since November so I don't hold a lot of hope of receiving it. Really dampens my willingness to buy from some European sellers right now. *sigh*

In addition to the Pilot VP cherry bamboo I'm still waiting for from Japan, I forgot to mention that I'm also waiting for my Pilot matte black VP to return back from Pilot USA customer service in Florida after the matte black finish is restored.

Has anyone ever experienced that a shipment changes tracking number?

I ordered a Platinum 3776 Century from Japan on New Years Eve. The pen was sent shortly there after and I received a tracking number. On 5-Jan-2017 the package arrived to the Swedish customs. I have repeatedly tracked the package, but it has been stuck in customs.

Today I suddenly received an arrival notice, the the package is available to be collected at the local postal service point. But the arrival notice has a different tracking number, still a Japanese though.

I really hope I get the correct package, because I have to pay 31 € in customs duties and VAT to get the package. Plus, i really want my pen and not something completely different.

To be continued...

I'm waiting the second time for my Parker Duofold Centennial to arrive. It was sold and shipped by amazon but stolen out of the package alongside the shipping.

Amazon sends a replacement after a phone call.

However, it's a scary feeling opening an empty box without pen, cartridges or converter. The carton box was forcefully opened on the sides, the content of the parker box removed and shoved back in as I see it. The outer box was only slightly damaged and I didn't notice it for quite a while.

See ya at the Dallas show in '17'

I'll be there with bells on. But I'm hoping I can get our group together sooner than that.

A Lamy 2000 with a medium nib. I've been contemplating getting this pen for a long time and finally made the decision last night and ordered it online.

It will be my first pen with a gold nib (and first pen purchase over 100 euros). :D
