What Pen Are You Waiting For In The Mail 2017

I am waiting for a couple of pens. Lamy Safari Dark Lilac EF and Lamy Safari Petrol Medium, Pilot Prera clear (EF nib), Pilot Penmanship clear (Fine nib), Pilot Kakuno(M nib) and pilot parallel 1.5mm.

I am eager to try out all the various nibs with my ink samples

Since I referred to it in another thread, I am waiting patiently on an S T Dupont Line D Atelier in the deep purple shade of chinese lacquer.

Parker 51 aero forest green gold filled cap. Found this forest green for the first time after my first 51 in this color in 1991. Pen is in the mail.

Pilot Custom 823. I lost mine on Saturday (I left it in a shopping cart after grocery shopping), so, after verifying that it was, indeed, lost, I ordered a replacement. Too good a pen to live without.

Late in January I laid down a deposit on a bit of jewellery, a small hand-engraving in sterling silver plated in gold. I liked it.

 

As a bonus, the engraving comes wrapped around a free pen and at last is in the mail to me, due in a day or two. The engraving is of pelicans which for some reason leads them to call it an M900 Toledo. Whatever, I am looking forward to a Pelikan in the family.

I await a pack of Jinhao 992s. They're supposed to arrive some time between this coming Monday and June 20. Plenty of leeway in there.

 

I fell off the wagon, and after this I'll have to clamber back up on it and try to stop accumulating pens and ink and similar items .

I just ordered Lamy Al Star xf charged green on sale. Last year's color = good price. I enjoy the xf on work paper. Economical but very trustable.

Parker Sonnet Rollerball in Chinese Lacquer Amber. Nothing wrong with rollerballs.

 

Each lacquered pen comes in a different color, so I have no idea what the color will be. I do hope its dark amber.

Thank goodness with the Jinhao 992 it was not a deep fall off the wagon. You probably still have some spending change in your pocket! I trust you will enjoy your 992's
