What Pen Are You Waiting For In The Mail 2017

Two X750s, but the arrival window for the first doesn't even open for another two weeks. :(

Just ordered a demonstrator Ahab from Amazon. Prime will have it here Monday. Cheaper than going to Pittsburgh past my bedtime to pick one up in person (darn you, third shift!).

Two pilot custom heritage 92's, one F and one FM. Lucked into a sale on Amazon, got them (from Japanese sellers) for about half the normal US price

A Sheaffer Targa. Got lucky in an online auction, and was able to buy this for 15 euros. It might come as soon as tuesday, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

That first X750 arrived later that same day. Two weeks early. The Ahab should be here this afternoon. Meaning the mail truck will be as late as possible. It never fails. If I'm expecting nothing, they may come by as early as 11am. If there's something I'm tracking, 2pm, 3pm, or even 4. :P

Had a long wait for a black/gold sf 3776 and a bottle of Iroshizuku Yama-Budo from Japan. The ink and converter arrived at the end of the week but I barely missed the mailman and the 3776 had to be signed for, so it gets to sit in the post office over the weekend after a month-long crossing. :lticaptd:Unless I fall for another one online, this will be my last for a little while. (Unlikely)

...The history, culture and sophistication; the rich, aesthetic beauty; the indulgent, ritualistic sensations of unscrewing the cap and filling from a bottle of ink; the ambient scratch of the ink-stained nib on fine paper; A noble instrument, descendant from a line of ever-refined tools, and the luster of writing,
with a charge from over several millennia of continuing the art of recording man's life.

Delike New Moon arrived the other day & after tweaking the alignment, it's proven to be a fine addition to the notSailor group. Although the box is marked with the Delike/D//LiK logos, the plastic sleeve & converter declare it a Hero product. I'd like everyone to meditate on the warning "PRODUCT OF HERO PROHIBIT TO IMITATE" on a pen clearly made to be a ringer for a Sailor Pro Gear. Gave me a good laugh anyway.

our post man always come at 11.00-11.30 am, and calls me if I'm not at home. sometimes I just find him on streets, and take my packages, and offering him a cup of coffee(even the coffee price much more than my pen:P), because he deserves this much.

I went on a cheap pen buying spree. Hero 001 with the 360-degree nib, Wing Sung Lucky (that's how it was labeled -- has a decagonal cross section), and a Hero 565 PFM knockoff. :)

I just ordered a white Vanishing point with black nib and matte black trim. I ordered it from Goulet I should have it on Thursday. I'd call this a spontaneous buy. I hadn't been planning on it. I was just reading a few threads on the VP and I decided I needed another one. My first VP is all matte black.

It's an early (1960's) Flighter. Brushed steel, chrome trim, black section and end cap. Gold nib. It looks a bit beat up, but it's coming to a good home, where it will find a lot of TLC.
