Thank you guys for your input! I've incorporated most of your suggestions (some with slight modifications). It seems we have a theme for every week now! What do you think? Is there any you think could be better?

Looks really good to me. Plenty of opportunities for "creative" thinking: I can't wait to start :-)

Thanks for all your work initiating this fun project.

Should be loads of fun. I see I need a few more inks though!

Week 6: Go large

Week 14: Bank vault ink

Week 16: Land of the Rising Sun

Week 22: Sub-aquatic

Week 24: My preciousssss

Week 25: Meh!

Week 29: Umbra Rumba

Week 37: L'encre Pierre de Coubertin

Week 38: "For every season turn, turn, turn"

Week 46: Rock that colour!

Week 51: Thanks for the memory

This sounds like fun -- and not as onerous as trying to do a different one every day. I'm in. (The weekly topics remind me a bit of the daily prompts from NaPoWriMo).

It really sounds like a lot of fun! I have (only) 23 inks, so I guess I won't post every week (well, I can go crazy and quickly multiply my collection, but this is rather unlikely).

Sounds like fun. I'm in. I reckon I can stretch my small collection of inks to match most topics, even if it involves a bit of mixing.

"Week 12 / 19 Mar: Inking Spring
Spring has come. Use a colour that represents spring for you. (If you’re living in the southern hemisphere, choose an autumn colour.)"

New name suggestion for above (applicable to spring and fall): "Inkuinox Celebration"

I copied and pasted the list of themes into a file on my computer, so I can keep track of them. I love some of the themes; although in a few instances I suspect they've gone over some members' heads -- I'm somewhat weird in that I recognized both "Thanks for all the fish" AND "Holi Festival" (please tell me we don't actually have to THROW the ink :o). I am a bit leery about the "Mix your favorite and least favorite inks" week because of bad chemistry pH interactions (and the ink I hated the most -- Platinum Mix-Free Flame Red -- I gave away to someone, who then gave it away to someone else...).

LOL... If you're not sure you can also mix your favourite and least favourite inks of the same brand, or use a dip pen, a stick, cotton swab...

Sounds like a lot of fun, and not so heavy as an ink a day... I'll try to think of some nice matches of my ink stash to these themes...

Thanks for the great ideas. I'll play.

a fountain pen is physics in action... Proud member of the SuperPinks
