Very nice pen. If memory serves the nib is a threaded unit similar to Esterbrook. 340 was, I believe, fine so a 341 is as you mentioned, a medium. A wonderful gift.

Yes, it is a Sheaffers respond to Js from Esterbrook - so it is very very very similar, aimed to the same customers. Thank you for the number explanation, that makes sense :-)
