Well, Lgsoltek, from your comments I presume you are not impressed. Looks very much like Diamine Misty Blue which I have always enjoyed.

 

What do you not like? Unusual but easy to read colour with wonderful shading. Is it too pale, don't like the slight turquoise shade? What about flow and drying times?

Yes I hate it.

I don't have any experience with Misty Blue but from the reviews I read it's a much more legible colour. Miles Davis is just too light, barely visible. It's even lighter than Sailor Yuki-akari or Bung Box Fujiyama Blue. The photos flattered it.

It feels somewhat dry, or rather, lack of lubrication. I think it's the worst Montblanc ink ever. Or perhaps the worst ink in my whole collection.

I bought it a week ago and haven't even tried it out yet. Probably because I knew it had to be boring. No, that wouldn't have anything to do with the man it's apparently supposed to resurrect, but rather... uhh... ferget it....

Seems out of context even making the pair with Miles Davis. I would have definitely paired him with a more vibrant colour. This just seems something like a "new born baby blue"

But then.. different inks behave differently in various pens. Give it a try in a wet nib? A broad nib?

 

There are inks I despise in medium/broads but love in fines etc.

I was really looking forward to this ink release. Too watery. Looks like I let the paper sit in the sun too long. But the box design is striking. I'll save the box and maybe mix the ink with a tablespoon of DC Blue... I bought an expensive MB ink box LOL

Why don't you mail (or write) MB and ask them if you can buy an empty box. Seriously. It might prompt them to offer more exciting LE inks but less often. 3 to 4 a year is too many and somehow degrades the idea of it all.

Well a broad nib doesn't help... Tastelessness is in its nature.
