Thank you for an informative review, Sagar. The aerometric tube in the eyedropper filler space -- does that equalize air exchange and prevent burping?

Thanks Bob.That tube is attached with the feed and I think that helps to prevent burping.

Thank you for a really good review, Sagar. I ordered this pen in the eyedropper version 5 days ago! You have confirmed that this was a very good choice - after reading it and viewing the excellent photos I have a much more complete vision of what I will be adding to my growing collection of hand-made Indian pens. It now goes well beyond the typical 48-pen case and includes a good number of Mr. Subramanium's excellent pens! I can't wait to get this latest gem.

Sagar, interesting about the aerometric tube. Perhaps Subbu will describe some of the thinking behind this development.

Here's a totally different question for you: I'd love to know who's who in the picture accompanying the review - the one with (almost?) each person proudly showing off their new pen... I'm supposing they are all also members of FPN? and in that case, it would be lovely to (finally) put a face to a screen name...

Congratulations all on being present at the launch of this pen, of course. My order went out the same day the first post about it appeared here... very much looking forward to having it in hand.

All of them are not fpn members I suppose..We were all from Kolkata except Subbu and Yusuf Manzoor(second from left). So standing from left they are: Anjan, Yusuf,Gourav Basu, Soumya Roy,Arunabha, Dr.Soumya Mukherjee, Subbu, & Padmanava. Sitting from left :Debjani and Subhodeep. Oh, it was a real fun..one of my most memorable days in my life.

Thanks for the great review. I cannot wait to receive mine.

Thanks Gopool

Thank you for the review, Sagar. Ordered mine yesterday. Identical to the reviewed model.

Nice review .. and good snaps.!!

Maya is on my list now!!

Thank you.

The material reminds me of the lava Visconti use on the homosapiens. In the pictures at least, good looking pen though.

Yes,it's very good looking pen.

I really like the feel of Visconti Homo sapiens. Very different from ebonite.

Edit: Thank you for the review. The Indian pens I have used a pretty horrible, and i expect nothing less from this one.

Can this be bought threaded for a Jowo # 6 nib unit, but without the nib unit? I have spare nibs already you see, so I don't need to buy the nib. Thoughts?
