Hi All-

I have recently fallen in love with a Pilot MYU 701. Before this, I was a modern pen guy and then got interested (of of the blue) in a Parker 51 and love the demi for its size and balance. Now I also love my MYU 701! I have a student who is Japanese and is going back for our college Christmas break. I would like to find a new Pilot M 90 with a fine nib, and am wondering two things...1. would the prices be less in Japan than they currently are on EvilBay? *Also there are currently no NOS F only M nibs...on that site)

2. Any suggestions of where I might have her look?

Thanks in advance!-

Sorry to say this but you probably won't be able to find a m90 instock anywhere in Japan which you can just walk in and buy.

There is one shop which had the m90 but is display only not for sale.

If you're not dead set on the m90 might i suggest the e95s?

Edit: I won't be naming the shop due to the fact that I mentioned it on a Reddit post and the owners got harassed for the sale of the pen.

Thanks invisuu!

It doesn't have to be brand new. I would like it to be 'like new' and have the original box and paperwork. I am looking for a Fine nib. Can you give me a general idea of the prices in the ads?

Thanks again!!!

I'm not sure if I can give such suggestions, so moderator can remove my post if it's not OK. But obviously classifieds on this site are a good source, there's also a nice market over at fpgeeks and you've got a great subreddit at /r/pen_swap

Last one I saw was 12 days ago - brand new, according to the seller. It seems like it sold for $500, but I'm guessing there was some bargaining on the price. Here's a link to the ad:

And ad here is selling a Pilot Murex and MYU 701; I'm not sure how they're different to the Pilot M90 - I'm not very interested in these pens and honestly haven't dug up info on what the exact differentiation is. You will probably know this better, but here's a link with more affordable prices (180€ each):

I can recommend this seller, I've personal bought from her before.
