After a long journey my Maya recently arrived - thanks again to Mr Subramaniam!

 

I opted for the bold nib and it writes a large, smooth wet line using Noodleer's American Aristocracy on Tomoe River paper. The matte brushed ebonite is quote nice particularly with the choice of clip and rings used. The mirror finish on the ends is also quote attractive. The model I received is an eye dropper and it came with their standard feed and a NOS sheaffer ebonite feed with breather tube. I have heard the sheaffer has a reputation for cutting out ink burps even when the pen is quite low so I removed the standard and installed the sheaffer. So far it is working well, be patient as it is friction fit and it may take several times to get everything aligned properly.

 

A worthy addition to anyone's collection and a real value at the current price point.
