Dear Inky,

I was so delighted to see you suggest Kermesin red. I have this ink that De Atramentis named Mark Twain. I have used it once. I am desperate for reasons to use this color immediately. I don’t want to be called a Pudd’nhead.

Dear MIssourian,

May I suggest using it to send kind thoughts to people stuck in nursing homes.  https://loveforourelders.org/ will take your letters and send them to people who otherwise get no cheerful mail.  I've been sending cards and letters and I'm starting to make a tiny dent in my ink collection.

AND in reference to your SHOW ME state status, you should create CRVs - this is where you write with Kermesin on one side of the paper and then send the letter to another FPNer to write with another red, then post up the result so that we can compare.  Now, for the Mark Twain comparison, we might want to find someone who still has Haley's Comet from Organic Studios.  (Alas, I gave away almost all my OS inks, but I do have my beloved OS Lewis Carroll which would be a great comparison with Kermesin).

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY
