Form submitted. Let me know if that white/blue swirl premium comes back in stock, looks beautiful.

Payment sent. If you get that white/blue swirly premium in before making the pen I requested (#3, no nib - threaded for Jowo, dark teal-green/black, matte) let me know, and I'll bump the payment up.

Vaibhav..

This response seems to be in direct contradiction with the previous reply on the color issue, and with the original descriptions and images provided when the Group buy was announced..

Color #12 Rose Red - Black Ripple (SE series)

Color# 6 Pale Pink Black Swirl (PE series)

In the images # 6 Looks darker and more vibrant than #12. Particularly when you look at the image showing the end of the #12 rod which looks Pink.

A few of us have inquired about these 2 colors because of the apparent discrepancy with the description and the images..where # 6 is described as Pink, but #12 looks like Pink.

On 12/13 you replied that the "the red on the premium (Pale Pink Black swirl #6 PE series ) is brighter than that of special colors "

On 12/21 you replied that "red black swirl premium ebonite (Rose Red-Black Ripple #12 SE series) is bright red and it is out of stock now"

(there is no color offered described as "red black swirl premium ebonite " so I presume you are referring to Rose Red-Black Ripple #12 SE series)

These two replies above are in direct conflict..

From what I can see 18 people have ordered either #12 or #6 for their color choice...

This is most confusing for such an important element of one's purchase...I wonder how many of these 18 orders have ordered the WRONG color based on the images, the descriptions, or the conflicting replies.

I know I ordered # 6 based on the reply of 12/13...however based on the reply of 12/21 it looks like I should order #12 - which is now out of stock.

Suggestions?

I was the one who originally asked this question and Vaibhav was replying me. There was no contradiction. I was asking only about the colour representation of the PE #6 because the photo didn't match the description. Vaibhav's first reponse was only what he thought was true, he mentioned he had to double check with Mr Kandanbefore confirming. The result was that the darker rod in the image isn't what's available, but the original description of "pale pink black" is accurate.

I noticed there were similar questions, but Vaibhav's reply that you referred to weren't in reponse to those. I think there was some confusion.

Edit: Nonetheless the colour confusion is unnfortunate. It really shouldn't be happening in the first place. Perhaps PM Mr Kandan directly for a response? We gotta remember that Vaibhav can only pass messages/ask on our behalf and probably knows as much as we do about the materials. Let's not shoot the messenger eh?

My post was NOT intended to shoot the messenger, or in fact even be critical of the messenger.

My post was addressed to Vaibhav solely because he has been the facilitator of orders and information regarding the group buy. It seemed as though the arrangement is that questions go thru Vaibhav as opposed to everyone contacting Mr. Kandan directly. I have thanked Vaibhav previously(PM) for his efforts on behalf of all of us...frankly a thankless responsibility.

"Who" asked a question in this forum is irrelevant...the questions and answers ARE relevant and are here for the benefit of all readers of the forums.

The answer to my color question on 12/13 contradicts the answer to your color question on 12/21...(the reply on 12/13 combined answers for your 12/13 question and my 12/13 question) ....

My objective in posting my comment in the forum was to alert the 18 people who have ordered #6 and #12 that depending upon what they relied upon for information (and when) to make their color choice there has been confusion and contradictions...it might be wise to review the current information and their color choice to ensure they receive what they want.

I am a perfect example..based on the reply on 12/13 to my question, I ordered #6, but based on the 12/21 reply to your question (the two replies contradict each other).. I would now order #12...which unfortunately is no longer available.

I belive there is confusion.. I said the premium ebonite #6 is now out of stock... Which is brighter red as compared to #12 rose red black ripple SE series.. And #12 SE is still available

For those who have already placed the order for # 6 red black premium ebonite they will get the same..

For new orders it is out of stock..

If anyone places order after 21 for #6 premium ebonite he orshe will be advised by MP Kandan over the email for the color...

Payment sent for second pen.

@Vaibhav JoWo were not listed in the original option on the form. Are they any extra and what sizes do they come in? Are they for the screw in or eyedropper pens?

I have just re-read everything. I see where you're coming from now. I didn't realise our questions were so similar. I get you're trying to help.

Wait...does this mean that the original PE #6 really was the dark red and black, not the pale pink as referred to in the name?

I understand that PE #6 is now out of stock but what's the actual colour of the rod? Is it suppoed to be red and black?

In addition: When the colour was confirmed as a light pink and black (correponding to the name), was that colour actually referring to the replacement rod due to the original being out of stock?

Sorry for repeatedly asking the same question. I'm trying to understand the discrepancy between the image and description on the first page. I put off ordering the PE#6 because i was confused. I'd be very dissapointed if the colour i wanted (red black) was replaced with an alternative (pale pink black) because i had waited too long for clarification.

I am having problems with using the form, its not letting me edit my second pen... I would like 2 pens:-

Hey Im 43 now but for my order, I had paid for the Fine nib (even though my original form stated no nib). If you remember I was wondering if you had the EF nib but decided that a the dual tone fine nib would be fine for this pen.

Thanks!

Shame JoWo nibs were not offered at the start. It is probably too late to change my order now :(

You may be right - but it couldn't hurt to PM Mr Kandan and ask! :)

rod no. #6 PE is named pale pink black swirl by MP Kandan and is actually Red with Black Swirls... but being ebonite it tends to lean toward pink... the original color #6 is now out of stock... replacement will be listed once MP Kandan confirms...

and now the google form is also updated accordingly....#6 actually is red with pink undertones... and MP Kandan refers this to as pale pink black swirls...

Kindly PM me for any other query....

@Vaibhav Mr Kandan is changing it to JoWo for me at no extra charge. He seems a very helpful guy and has put up with my changing of colours and my being a general pain in the bum!
