Mine just arrived!

Well, so says the Post Office. They left me a nice "We missed you...need a signature" note and took the pen back to the post office. I'll have to pick it up tomorrow on my way home from work. I can easily wait while the pen is in transit from India but knowing it's sitting all alone on a shelf in a cold warehouse is killing me.

Ahhh they have "we missed you notes" in the US too! Do lazy postmen stick them through the door without knocking there too?

Looking forward to my two. And hopefully my Ratnamson too.

Odd. We have a rural mailbox on a post at the road. I wonder if that plays into the need for a signature.

Our delivery person (female) is far from lazy :) We live in a rural area and US Postal Service uses group boxes about a mile from my home. Sometimes, if the package is too big or the parcel boxes are full, she will drive yup our lane to deliver it to the house, going out of her way by about a half mile or so. And we've known the postmaster for over 30 years - you could put my name and he town on the letter and it would find its way to me, I am sure.

The FedEx, UPS and DHL drivers covet our route - we know the individual drivers by name.

I consider myself lucky to have such good folks delivering packages for us - we really depend on them since the closest proper pen shop is 250+ miles away. :) Which I know is around the corner for some of you :)

The more I know about computers, the more I like my pens.

I have nothing but good things to say about all our delivery personnel. The USPS lady even brings dog treats!

The other day the ice was so bad that schools were closed and everyone that could (me) worked from home. USPS didn't let that stop them. They made their delivery at 9pm - much later than usual but they still made it.

I received mine in NYC! One Model 3 and one Model 3C, both with kanwrite nibs. Beautiful pens, but I have to say I am not able to get the blue color the way it looks in the photos - it's always more green, which is not a good color for me. The other is a red with mauve ripple, nice, could use more mauve but I like it! In any case, I look forward to using these pens! It looks like there was a pen and nib thrown in?

It depends upon the size of the route and the absolute laziness of the delivery person. Our postal lady just sticks the slip in the mailbox along with the rest of our mail. She doesn't like having to stop or get out of her vehicle.
