Good nib, well balanced pen, but don't like the matte finish, the premium ebonite is not free from pits. This pen scores 6 out of 10.

That's a shame Dr Sanyal. If you are not completely happy with the finish maybe they can fix it for you if you send it back. What is so premium about the premium ebonite btw?

received the pen today evening. have been waiting for this blue white ebonite for a long time. it has always been out of stock.

 

will ink this up in few days and if it writes as well as it looks it will challenge model 4c which is so far my best pen from ranga.

Gorgeous pens! Small flaws mentioned above are kinda nice to me. Such minor flaws remind me that it is a handmade pen. Makes me smile. 😀

When somebody gets a pen in the US, let us know. I was checking my mail, but maybe the pens are just getting to people in India. I'm not sure how long it will take them to get to customers here.

My ebomite pens have a few tiny blemishes. It's the nature of hand production. I must say all those pens look lovely. I look forward to getting mine.

No, I have not received that. But when I heard some people were getting their pens, I thought maybe we weren't getting confirmation.

It's a different colour. That is all as far as I can tell because I have a pen in "premium" ebonite and the quality is indistinguishable from the non "premium" examples I've handled.

There was a thread a while back asking that very same question. Forum member zwack answered it. IIRC, Mr. Kandan clarified in one of the group buy emails or threads that "premium" ebonite is manufactured in the USA and "regular" ebonite is made in India.

I didn't get any tracking details. Just received the pen one day.i think many pens have been shipped and tracking details will follow
