Manufacturers since 1864, Diamine Inks relocated to this purpose built 'state of the art' factory in Liverpool in 1925, where they successfully carried on using the traditional methods and formulas for ink production. Over the years the company has changed hands and are now located close to the world famous Aintree Race Course

Wild Strawberry is cool, retina searing ink. In wet nib it gives crazy intense and vibrant red line.

The ink is very wet and saturated. If you anjoy similar colors this one won't disappoint you.

Great review as always, Vis! This is my favourite and/or most-used red of all. Seconded by D's Poppy. Both of those have replaced Sheaffer's Red for me (which I took over from Richard's recommendation).

Another great review but not a colour range I use much at all. Considering I am a Manchester United supporter, that seems to go against the grain, but there you have it...

Thanks for this review, vis, especially liked the picture of the sheen. Went ahead and ordered a 30 ml bottle.

Thanks for the review, I enjoy this color! Only have a small bottle but may invest in a larger bottle when this is gone.

Thanks for the great review - this is my newest red ink and I love it. I use fine and extra-fine nibs so the colour doesn't "pop" the way it does on my monitor - but still a favourite of mine.

This is a fun red to write with. I have a 80ml bottle I still need to break into, but am having the issue of too many fun inks to play with to remember!

FP Ink Orphanage-Is an ink not working with your pens, not the color you're looking for, is never to see the light of day again?!! If this is you, and the ink is in fine condition otherwise, don't dump it down the sink, or throw it into the trash, send it to me (payment can be negotiated), and I will provide it a nice safe home with love, and a decent meal of paper! Please PM me!For Sale: TBA

Thanks for the review, as always.

Wild Strawberry is one of those inks I keep meaning to try, and then somehow don't. Possibly because I think of Diamine Classic Red when I want what I consider a "true" red.

My bottle finally arrived! It's definitely red. Bright red. It makes Skrip look dingy. Well-behaved on copy, that's always a plus. And it certainly is, um, bright.

Yes, Retina Searing. No doubt, Amber loves it.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Hey, I love this ink for editing work!

Gotta use a fine nib though; mine feathers like mad on copy paper.

Very nice! I'm split between getting this or Poppy Red (and, well, the other Diamine reds) for mark-up and annotation.

I use both about 50:50. Sorta depends on my mood of the day. I.e., I'm almost always in the same good mood.
