hi, I'd also go for IG Turquoise ;) But I'm not the expert, I've never used Tsuki-yo. Any support on that issue from @Lgsoltek or @Cyber6? ;)

IG Turquoise is your best bet.

Since is IG and very paper dependent, it can go very dark.... but with the right paper, is a very close doppelganger to Tsuki-Yo. ;)

Preliminary dip tests -- and then trying the Tsuki-yo in a couple of different pens (and getting varied results)... I'm just going to buy more Tsuki-yo and use it in the pens where the color works for me. Hahaha. I will buy other colors from KWZI (compiling a list and hoping to cross paths with Mr & Mrs KWZI before too long).

It is a cool name. I'm glad we have Mrs KWZI there, to stop Mr KWZI from naming it Yellow #1. LOL

DITTO!

Thanks again Vis for a great review.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Struggled to get a Lamy Vista [F] to bring out the shading, but today it is both sunny outdoors and in the pen. Must say I see this ink as a good colour to add to a sketch.

Just got my bottle of this. I just say that my bottle is no where near this orange. It's a yellow brown with a slight orange tint that only shows up in very saturated spots. And it has also been fairly dry in the pen ive used it in.

Here are some comps of El Dorado. It's very close to J Herbin Ambre de Birmanie (top). El Dorado is not nearly as orange as the photo appears. Much browner than Apache Sunset. I included Fire Opal on the bottom just to compare another orange. Not very orange at all. Added a little Grapefruit to a sample and it looks much better. Still kind of disappointed with this one.

Just ordered a bottle of this. Seems somewhat similar to Apache Sunset, and of all my Noodler's it is the one that gets used most.

Glad this review came back up - El Dorado is on my wishlist since Lgsoltek posted a few nice pictures of it in this month's ink combo project (Check for February - Hangin' in the shade in CRV)

Awesome review from Visvamitra as always, and the comparisons above by Dannystr78 are great too - 4 beautiful inks
