It's great to see your review. Thank you Algester.

I bought a bottle of this a few weeks ago as I have it in one of their little 5 x 10ml bottle sets & it was a favourite. It's another ink that's close to Mb Leonardo Red Chalk, although it feels better in use than the Mb, which is a bit dry for me.

Looking forward to seeing more of your inks :-)

I have just been enjoying two similar red browns, thanks to the generosity of a very good friend here; Maruzen Athena Renga & Kobe Renga, # 39. They are each I am sure just a bit different, but such a pleasure to use. It is nice to find a Sailor red brown without having to syphon a cartridge's content of Sailor Clear Candy red brown!

Thank you for sharing this ink with your review on the Tomoe River paper.

Algester...thanks so much for introducing us to this interesting ink! I'm a huge fan of red brown inks and agree with Migo984 that it looks alot like MB Red Chalk...one of my favorites. It looks great on the Tomoe River paper.

...and, as Jack mentioned, the Athena Renga and Kobe Renga inks. What a great time to be a collector/accumulator of fountain pen inks. Leapyears ahead of my schooldays when the choice was blue, black or blue black.
