Ch4 Shuttle Space Pen History?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone

I've been asked to give some data about the CV of the CH4 Shuttle Space Pen by Fisher Co. that's somehow based on the original design of the AG7 which was first used in space by astronauts on Apollo 7 in 1968

here are the questions

1- Was CH4 used in NASA space program? when?

2- When was the first line of production?

actually it's so important for us to find answers and we will be so thankful for any help

Best Regards

I can't answer either of your questions, but I can say I have both this pen and the AG-7 and they're both great (though I do like the thicker AG-7 more). Functionally, they're identical.

Have you tried contacting Fisher?

Thank you, yes I have, no answer yet

I asked them a question about their discontinued UV refills once and it took a week or so to get back to me, but they did eventually.

The main Info contact link didn't work from here so I had to use the sales link in Fisher website
