Kwz Green Gold

Have this running in a Cross Townsend with Gold medium nib. Lubrication isn't that great, with a lot of hard Starts.

That's odd - I've used it in three different pens, with different nib widths, and have had no issues with lubrication or hard starts. I've not known any KWZ ink to have problems with lubrication, so perhaps you got a bad batch?

I doubt a bad batch, personally. Sounds like a pen and ink combination issue; perhaps the environment as well, if the poster lives in a dry climate, maybe. I too have never experienced such problems with KWZ inks.

Of course it's always good to check whether the pen is having issues, needs some maintenance/cleaning. If an ink doesn't work well in a pen, while other inks do, I personally will want to try that ink in another pen, perhaps even a different brand as a way of comparison.

While I prefer KWZ #1 Green Gold to #2, I do agree that you should try it! Mixing equal parts of both gives one a lush, earthy color.

Do you (or anyone else) happen to have such a mix and wouldn't mind posting a picture of the final result? :)
