Help Identifying A Wearever

Orpilorp

Recommended Posts

I picked up this Wearever bulb-filler at a junk store, but have been unable to identify it. The cap band is missing (and those two smudges on the cap are from my inky fingers).

Any idea of the model and approximate production date? Thanks.

(corrected a spelling error)

Sweet pen. The multi-band ends are terrific.

I’d say it’s a little younger than this, from the early ’30’s

and about the same age as this, from the mid-’30’s.

Those casein banded ends were more common on Onwards.

The only model name I recall for Wearever is Meteor, which is an eight facet, button-fill from

the early ’40’s. (Onward is one their many sub-brands.)

Fun pens to collect, and your bulb-fill is special.
