Aurora Opens A Museum

I just came across this news dating back to October 1st... Aurora just opened a museum dedicated to its fountain pens and writing in general. It is located outside Turin in the industrial town of Settimo Torinese and it is quite big, articles speak of 2,500 square meters.

It is a shame that the website is only in Italian... for a company with an international appeal seems a big pas faux. But again, easy to submit to Google translate.

 

Having said so, a big museum dedicated to fountain pens is a very good news and I will try to visit it next time I am in Italy.

Kirit mentioned the museum to me, and his visit there, when I bumped into him at the London Pen Show.

 

I too thought "road trip" but only when I win the lotto as I could never leave there empty handed . . .

I read that the museum is about writing, not only fountain pens, that are only 13.
