Yes, that is indeed an uncommon colour scheme. Its Mabie Todd colour is described as Fuschia. You have a rare and interesting set - a friend showed me on Sunday last an identical set in blue.

Your pen may be stamped F/92 where 92 is the model designation (F for Fuschia). It is said that the code though for your colour scheme is 93, but there is uncertainlty about this as around the time these pens were made (late 1920s) the colour codes between England and the US started to diverge - or so I believe.

The nib on your pen is a beauty: classic MT NY stub; probably nicely flexible too.

It looks as though the outfit was an import since the pouch carried the company name Mabie, Todd & Co Ltd - thus English so I expect that the set was sold here. However after about 90 years, almost anything could have happened!

A very nice find: well done!

Ah-ha! Ron Jukes! I saw that pair of beauties! What a treat to see them up close and in such excellent condition. You've really got a lovely set there. I've seen similar MT pens in blue and green but never the pink. Enjoy that nib!
