What a lovely bloke.

 

I'm cwrtain their inks sold well. I saw loads of people walking about with a bottle or two of his fountain pen fuels in their clutches.

I bought two and did my best to persuade others to buy some too.

 

I did try to help him buy a Visconti Homo Sapiens. Not sure if he did though as I left before the end. (fingers crossed)

 

(Psst, don't tell anyone but I think Mrs KWZ is the real reason for the brand's success. What a salesperson and ambassador for KWZ. What handwriting too !)

I'll see what I can do.... but you are right. Is limited and meant for the Scriptus attendees.

 

 

 

Color conception... well, started from last year. Maple Red was the first KWZI LE. The concept for that one .. was CANADA.. we wanted something that was truly Canadian.. The color of the Maple fall leaves is as Canadian as it comes.. Maple Red was so successful, it flew out the doors in 40 minutes.. Of course, we want to repeat the success. For the second year.. the decision was to do Blue... So lets find a Canadian Blue... The thoughts were around... a Glacier Blue (we are famous for our glacier fed lakes.. google them up).. a Winter Blue (duh,... no explanation on this one..).. and a Twilight Blue (..taking our Northern Lights as reference)... Then I work with Konrad/Agnieszka to get the perfect blue. We might still do a Glacier Blue and a Winter Blue another time... but for now... Northern Twilight took our collective breaths away...

 

On a wet pen... you get the "Northern Lights" effect... purple,gold and silver sheen.... :wub: ... Don't ask me.. Konrad is an InkMASTER...

Wow, this color looks stunning! That tinge of teal makes it perfect! I rarely comment on an ink, but this one just... wow!

I suppose it's all gone by now and mere mortals can't get it anymore?

I hope Konrad wrote down the recipe :-)

Nice color and sheen! However I already have too many similar colours and blue blacks ATM. Hopefully it becomes more widely available though.

@parnesh - I don't think so. The chances are, though, if the need for such a color arises in the community, Konrad will respond with something close or maybe even better (or not, but I try to be optimistic).

This ink looks amazing! I would love to somehow get a bottle or two if it's even possible. What would happen to the ink if it doesnt sell out? Will it be sold online somewhere? If anyone is interested in picking up a bottle for me to buy and/or trade I'd be very appreciative.

Both of those colors are very appealing. Monarch butterflies are so beautiful, so I like that tribute. Many of us know that KWZ inks are outstanding performers in great colors; maybe Limited Editions will stir up a little frenzy of interest and get them more widely known.
