Your Rarest Parker Pens And Your Favorite!

The first is a Parker 36, I think this shows how much more stunning silver pens are as compared to the same pen in GF or 14K (Parker 35).

The second pen is a 14K Parker 40-- not too sure about the cap which I doubt is correct.

Here is another extremely rare Parker which is the only one known. See if you can ID it.

Looks like a demonstrator Giant (Bakelite)?

Click filler. But you know I know this. The click here isn't so much the click but tather the material. 23 24 ?

Perhaps under appreciated.

Will we see the etched silver overlays?

Rarest I own, I think, is a Nassau Green "51" found in an antique store. $9.00, including tax, plus the usual refurbishing fee.

I also own a RHR Duofold Senior whose original owner was Elmer C. Walzer which gives the pen considerable historical interest. It's a wonderful writer. See: http://www.nytimes.com/1974/05/19/archives/elmer-c-walzer-of-upi-dies-at-80-financial-editor-until-1960-wrote.html?_r=0

Favorite Parker would be one of several Mk I Victories with velvet soft medium nibs. Those Newhaven folks knew how to make a nib.

Well done. I've never actually handled one.

Acid Etched. Fine silver would also qualify as rare and among the favorites.

The pen is a Parker CX

Here are a few acid etched-- a Parker 24 and a Parker 32 BF. The BF is fairly common--the ED is much rarer but I don't have time to find my picture of one.

I doubt anyone would recognize the last pen as it is the only one I have ever seen -- a Parker AX.

Here's a easier one

Solid, yes?

AX is impressive.

The AX is solid 14K. The entire x series and the Pen of Pens were all solid gold. Unlike Waterman, Parker did not do solid gold much in the early pens-- Parker 40, some Giraffes, some Parker 35s, etc.

The Parker 11 above is GF. Nicer in SS of course.

Heres a pen that looks like it should be 14K but is GF-- never seen one in 14K.
