I hope you will show us pictures of your "unbranded" pen. I love the "unspecial", everyday pens, made for low-end students pupils, drugstore clerks, policemen, etc. If you have similar interests, the 1950's - 1960's market in Germany had "unbranded", plastic, piston-fill fountain pens for the general market. The several that I encountered had very good nibs.
