Am I The Only Person Waiting For A Certain Mb Ink From Tilburg?

I am waiting on 5 inks from Compte. I am frustrated only because when I "ordered 2 of them," the site said ithey were available. After checkout I was received a brief comment stating, "we are waiting for the restocking of said in, and when it is back in stock, your complete order will be shipped.

I am not upset, per se, but I am irked by the following reasons.

1) I ordered from this site SPECIFICALLY because they 'allegedly," implied they had it. Every other vendor says "out of stock, and given the nature of said ink, we all know what that means, especially when it's on fleabay for almost twice the amount and climbing.

2) Since they stated they had all inks, I wishfully hoped that it was another ink that help up the sale. Okay, magical thinking, who can blame me, right? That said, to their credit, the email responses have been timely, polite, and informative.

3) Setting a timeline when you know it can be "fluid," bums me out. Instead of saying "we will be receiving said NEXT WEEK and will ship immediately, a vendor should say, we expect this item shortly or whatever.

4) My last email said the ink was promised to them by the END of this month. That seems to imply that there was a timeframe in place. Of course, I also know that things could have changed since I ordered, blah, blah, blah...

I am NOT upset about waiting, I'm really not. I'm grateful to be getting that ink, IF I AM IN FACT, GETTING IT.

What bothers me is the lack of transparency.

Am I alone on this? Is this par for the course, especially when it is a LE ink from a certain manufacturer?

As stated above, the customer service has been good........when I email. I have done so TWICE. Once to conform they would, in fact, be receiving said ink and the second time was when my order status went from processing to pending a week later. I don't think that is badgering. I was very kind, let them know in know uncertain terms I was happy about opportunity and didn't mind waiting, etc.

When I talk about "how they way things out to be done,' I feel like i sound like my grandfather, sorry.

No, you're not alone on this. I 'bought' four Sailor inks from Engeika at the beginning of August. All four inks were listed as 'in stock'. After I had paid my money I received an email telling me that my order had been (apparently) passed onto Sailor. In other words, the inks were obviously not in stock as advertised.

One month and a couple of emails later and Engeika informs me that my order has still not been sourced nor shipped. After some reflection and a little more grace time (which the seller really did not deserve) I have rather reluctantly come to the decision to open a PayPal dispute. I also sent message saying that I would like a full refund and not for the order to be completed. I included a note to say that I no longer wish to have any business dealings with this seller.

Response? Another email telling me they are trying to fulfill my order. This is not only frustrating by incredibly disrespectful, and all the more surprising coming from a Japanese seller. As the dispute has a resolution time line I fully expect the seller to delay any refund until the very last date.

Overall, as in the OPs situation, I find the lack of transparency irritating and the clear untruth of the listed stock to be unacceptable. It also seems to me that this particular seller has no respect for his customers. Shameful behaviour.

I bought 5 2-packs each of Sailor Pink and Sky Blue from Engeika on 8-5, with estimated delivery between 8-17 to 9-1 and am still waiting for them to arrive. These were both listed as "low stock", which one would assume meant "in stock". While I have received some things from Japan relatively quickly, other items have taken forever so I figure I'll wait another week or so before raising a stink. I have a small stock of the pinks but I just used my last blue. :(

I had a similar experience. On July 20, I ordered Sailor Sakura-Mori from Engeika's site. Unlike other of the second batch of Four Seasons inks, this one still showed as in stock on his site. But I, too, got the "Your item has been already ordered directly to SAILOR for you" response.

I did receive replies to my occasional queries, but only when I had had enough and wrote on Sept 9 to cancel my order did I suddenly get a confirmation that it was on its way to their distribution center for shipment. I received it last week.

So, yes, I got the ink. Hooray. But I will never buy from them again.

Wait the minute.....i was writing long sentence before i realized i dont really get this, so my question is:

Did you mean purchasing from LA COURONNE DU COMTE or ENGEIKA? Which one?

Looking back at my mail, I realized Engeika never actually sent a "shipped" notice, only an order confirmation saying they should arrive 8-17 to 9-1. On 9-21, they resent the confirmation with the addition of "your order has shipped"; order arrived today, the 27th.
