Recommend A Bright Blue Ink

I'd vote for Asa-Gao over BSB. It may not sear your eyeballs, but it also won't give you, your pen, your work area, and the section of land around your work area a case of the blues :)

Also, Asa-Gao is better behaved.

I really dislike Diamine Sargasso Sea for the same reason as BSB. Intense blue (darker), but not worth the hassle.

BSB fan. Yes, it stains, but it is brilliant. I have no problems with feathering and i use it on both quality paper and cheap notebook paper that students turn in. It works great for editing as it jumps off the page at you. No one misses the comments i write on their papers when i do it in BSB.

+1 on Diamine Blue Velvet. Here is a sample of the color from Chrissy's review, I hope she doesn't mind-- her review is closest to my experience of the ink's color. Her review is here: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/284041-ink-review-diamine-150th-anniversary-blue-velvet/

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Couldn't agree more. I use it in an EDC pen, at 80% strength.
