Cool set and great focus quality.

 

I would suggest to look into different composition to give a little more dynamic and drama to the shots. There are loads of good examples around for inspiration.

Thanks, it was the first use of my new macro lens, I have some ideas for better lighting and composition... Just not enough time!

Somehow I missed this thread originally. And I have questions....

@ pseudo88 -- What's the nib in the 6th photo --the nib with the dimpling and what looks like knights jousting at the base? (It's the photo between the Kaweco nib and the Waterman Ideal nib, for frame of reference).

@ Tasmith -- That Marlen Alaph nib is weird looking. I know pretty much zero about Marlen pens, so I was curious as to whether there was some particular reason (such as adding flex to the nib) in those serrated cutouts on the sides.

That pen is a Faber-Castell Ambition Pearwood.

BTW, if the paper doesn't look white that's because it's an ivory Rhodia Pad.
