Thanks for the good review. How would you compare it with Azure #5? I find #5 darker but dont' have #2 right alongside it (with same pen on same paper and all that...)

Here's a comparison. Sorry, I don't have #5 inked at the moment, but I'd say it's both darker and greener than #2.

Thanks! I'd like to say -- and therefore will say -- that you are right on. My #5 is darker and greener than your #2 and resembles that which you labeled #4 above. Is that #4 above actually a #5?

No (at least, not according to the sample vials!). Here, #5 is on the lower left and #4 is on the lower right. The photo makes them look closer than they appear to the naked eye. In any event both are far greener than either #2 or #3.

Thanks again. I couldn't see "#5" anywhere at the bottom left but the swabbing -- that's just like the #5 I have. Good comparison of all four!

The #2 is very pretty, but I still favor the #3. My bottle (of #3) is from the first batch that Konrad produced, and it ghosts (shows through on the other side of the page). He reformulated it, but I haven't bought a bottle yet. I had planned to at Pen Show Poland 2015, but I ended up buying two bottles of iron-gall ink instead (turquoise and blue). (Laughing face.)

Hi Lisa As far as I remember your #3 is the Blue #3, from the water resistant series, which is something different from Azure #3 from the standard series

It is! I don't usually like that much green in my blues, but #4 is an exception.

Ah... I thought the Azures were the reformulated Blues. Your blues and azures are so beautiful!

Btw, the names of blue shaded inks are confusing for many users, so the reformulated water resistant Blues will be reintroduced in the future with the new names I guess Now we still test them and they are not offered. Let's hope we'll finish until the next Pen Show in Katowice
