That address has been used for Engeika's member logon page as long as I've been shopping with them.

engeika is a decent guy, and I'm sure he's a decent seller. But he doesn't always have stock in hand that shows as in stock on his web-site. So, you might make a payment, then wait, and wait.

He updated the website recently, and it now appears to show when an item is sold out, which it didn't used to do.

No Pilot pens though. When I ordered some ink recently I had a note sent to me saying that the order had been put in to the suppliers. This suggests that Engeika still doesn't personally stock everything (maybe they never did )

So true, I have received two shipments of ink from Japan since I placed an order from Engeika. BUT they both cost a LOT more than the Sailor ink I purchased from him; I can pay less, wait longer with him or pay 3 times as much, for the SAME ink, but have it sooner. It depends for me on what I am purchasing.

I asked Taizo about the Pilot page, and he said they were still re-building it, but he did say that if I wanted anything, to just ask him.

 

Some things I have ordered from him have arrived in four days, that included 20 minutes in Customs and came with free drug-sniffer dog drool...

More recently things show up as getting to Aus. in four days, then taking about a week to get from Sydney Airport to me (about 5 km away). There is some suggestion that Aus. Post is on a deliberate go-slow to try and get some more money out of the Gummint.

 

If Taizo doesn't actually have an item in stock, then he has told me, and that the order is with the suppliers.

Indeed, this is the reply I got:

They confirmed that they are checking the stock and will contact us back very soon.
We will keep you updated as soon as we get the reply from them.

 

Makes it clear that the stock situation was unknown to the seller at the time that they took my money. Unfortunate. If I don't get any reply this week (that quoted message is already 10 days old) then I will have to do something about this.
