I ended up not bidding on the pen because I'm really liking the thin and light Rialto/Vector/88s. The 21 might be a little wider and a little heavier than I like, at least right now. Ebay yielded a Rialto made in the UK that writes like a dream. It showed up leaking like crazy but I think that was just because it was shipped with a full cartridge. I cleaned it out and filled it. It doesn't seem to be leaking now. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Yes, I think it was. There was still some ink in it when it arrived. The cleaning out and replacement with a converter worked perfectly.
