Hi All

Glad tosee Things are devloping here

I talked to dr J who is curious to hear from your experiences.

  • My advice too. Use an easy to clean pen. That said I have two pens which filled 3 months ago... Not used and they write after a shake.
  • Do rinse pen because some of the particles can stay on the feed.... My advice use a Syringe or streaming water works fine wiht me
  • I found the bottles which mberlea placed above very peculiar... The Yellow look like Lemon lemonade... It wrote well though I saw the same Sediment on the bottom my bottle Diamine blue lightning
  • PLEASE try mixing different colours with different Metalls the hue and shades can be very exiting
  • It seems that the Metall particles were available in 3 different sizes. Dr Took the medium particles if I understood correctly. He did not want to use the large particles as he was afraid of clogging. He also thougth that the smallst paricles had Little effect... But I will talk on this with Dr J

Most important question for dr J to know....

  • Should (some) of These inks be taken into production...An if yes Which ink.... Maybe Ambrlea can make a Poll on this
  • Dr J is always open for suggestions... So please shoot!
  • If YOU say that These inks should be take into production Dr J would be very glad to give a conciderable Discount for a Group buy :)

Last but not least

To all People I personally promised samples.... I please aeceptmy humble apologies. I was on a Holiday in France and Holland. An I am currently attendin an extensive Course on social psychiatrie next to my normal work, very interesting but busy busy busy

I am in Northern Italy next week and will send the samples the week after that....

Hope that is alright with you

Regards

Peter

I'm a bit of a newbie, but I'd be interested in reviewing one of the inks in all four metals if there is still any openings available.

I'm particularly interested in Camelia Red, Velvet Black, Cyan Blue and Columbia Blue.

I'd be willing to take any colors that need reviewed and don't have any takers.

As soon as Sinistral1 comes to town, we will make the list happen. It's going to be awesome! We should have inks for everyone interested in testing.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

With the new Massdrop where we can order four bottles with our choice of color and metal particles, I'm definitely tempted to buy. I almost want to make a group of four bottles that correspond their colors of the houses at Hogwarts.

Ravenclaw - Columbia Blue and Bronze

Slytherin - Heliogen Green and Silver

Gryffindor- Camellia Red and Gold

Hufflepuff - Velvet Black and Gold

There seem to be so many delightful color combinations. I'll be mulling things over for a while, probably until just before the drop ends.

COLOUR COMBINATIONS

That is the my request to all of you...

Please Combine different ink colours and metalls...

In my opinion you get awesome results... When the light shimmer in them... Move the paper and new hue and colour appear....

Enjoy you All!!!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to make custom shimmering inks! I know I truly appreciate it! I only recently purchased my first ink you've made, some of the document inks because I love permanent inks. But the Pearlescent ink is too wonderful an opportunity to pass up!

  • 2 weeks later...

We spent the day in Amber's office making up samples for testing and even though there was a mass drop offered, are planning on going through a testing on this ink.

One observation made during the sample process is that several colors took an inordinate amount of shaking to completely mix. In some others the metallic particles fell back to the bottom fairly quickly.

Cost is $5 per ink color which covers the costs for postage, envelopes and vials. You may also get a little surprise.

The Amber Yellow is my favorite - first it has a GREAT name. Second, it is mesmerizing in the bottle. It looks great on the paper too, but in the bottle is stunning.
